In the NCompass Advanced Retail 9.87 release users will now be able to upload Price Import Spreadsheets using any version of Microsoft Excel (Excel Workbook files as well as the 97-2003 format). However, if the below error message appears when you attempt to upload your spreadsheet you will need to install the Microsoft ACE OLEDB 12.0 Driver.
If you have Microsoft Office 365 Installed on your computer follow the below instructions:

Troubleshooting
After you have installed the Microsoft ACE OLEDB 12.0 driver onto your workstation if you are still experiencing issues follow the below instructions:
1. In NCompass go to Tools -> Configuration
1. In NCompass go to Tools -> Configuration
2. In the search box enter 'Excel Driver Type'
3. Tick 'Search All Groups' and then click 'Seach'
3. Tick 'Search All Groups' and then click 'Seach'
4. Select the option from the results list below
5. Against the workstation drop down list, select 'Microsoft.JET.OLEDB.4.0' and click save.
5. Against the workstation drop down list, select 'Microsoft.JET.OLEDB.4.0' and click save.
6. Retry uploading your spreadsheet. If there is still an error message go back to the setting and select 'Microsoft Excel' then retry.
